From breakfast to all-day dining the dishes are simple but incredibly tasty, all served within a relaxed and welcoming bistro/brasserie-style environment.

Role Details:

The role of Head Chef will see the ideal candidate entirely responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen, this includes:

- Specifying and delegating duties of kitchen staff

- In conjunction with the owner, developing dishes and menus

- Adhering to the relevant standards set and maintain such records as are required by the Food Health and Safety Regulations

- Taking responsibility for the cost effective ordering of all supplies relevant to the efficient running of the kitchen

- Liaising with front of house staff and ensuring that effective communication is achieved between them and kitchen staff

The ideal candidate must:

- Have experience within classic French cuisine - ideally within a similar busy quality Brasserie environment

  The restaurant can accommodate 95 covers

- Be passionate and hard-working with a desire to maintain the excellent standards the restaurant has become known for

- Have a hands-on leadership style and manage the kitchen team effectively

- Have experience with stock levels, budgeting, menu planning etc

Salary & Benefits:

£60k per annum
