With our strive to lead for excellence. Our client has created an innovative Academy that will plan and deliver a Level 3 Award in Professional Cooking for Early Years Chefs (0-7yrs). The new Chef Trainer will lead in overseeing the Chef Academy students whilst teaching and developing the Chef Academy Qualification. They will work with the Senior Chefs as a support network for all the Chefs
The role requires direct Engagement with students to create a positive learning environment including conducting classes and providing performance action plans. All Chef Academy Students must be assessed by the Chef Trainer in line with CACHE regulations and requirements.
The position will require you to facilitate the company seasonal menu rollout and deliver training on food and hygiene standards across the organisation.
The Chef Trainer will consistently promote the ‘Healthy Eating ’ policy including working with outside professionals such as Suppliers as well as with parents to support nutrition at home.
We are seeking a candidate with good classroom management and an engaging teaching style and personable manner is essential as is a chef trainer who is passionate about continuing their own personal and professional development with training and upskilling.
You will have previously worked as a chef in a comparable early years/school or contract catering environment
While the assessor’s qualification is desirable, good candidates without the qualification can be trained internally by the company
