This exciting established leading international company is currently investing in London and has recently acquired an established upmarket cafe serving breakfast , brunch and lunch in the Pimlico area, set in contemporary surroundings offering an all day dining experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and customer service driven General Manager to join an expanding company offering fantastic prospects & opportunity ( the client is currently looking at new existing sites to acquire)
Vacancy Description:

Responsibilities include:

Responsible to oversee the initial re-brand /refurb and opening   operation

In charge of recruitment, team training & development (HR procedures)

Stock management: purchasing, wastage control, supplier liaison

Staff Rotas and managing labour effectively 

 Figure P&L reporting

Daily cashing up 

Due Diligence: Hygiene, Health & Safety, Fire Safety Records & Procedures

Management meetings

About you:

Passion for customer service and experience in quality driven fast paced dining  environment

Min 24 months experience as a Cafe /brasserie  Manager level within a comparable / vibrant retail ( with take out aspect) recognised quality brand operation/ ( opening experience a distinct advantage) 

Strong all round skill set – man management, leadership, organisation, communication, attention to detail

Ability to manage & motivate a team, ensuring high standards of product quality & service

Business acumen – finance control, target driven  / sales driven, forecasting

Reliable & committed with intention to offer a long term commitment to next role

Salary & Benefits:
£35 k per annum plus performance related bonus
