The Company:
Independently owned 15th century manor house set in the stunning Berkshire Countryside, events varying from weddings, corporate conferences, activity days, parties, proms, and private dinners. Maximum dining number is currently 250 seated. Currently in the process of recruiting a sous Chef for their stunning site. This is a fantastic opportunity for a leading professional chef to join a forward thinking and expanding organisation. This role comes with, fantastic working hours
Vacancy Description:

Menu development - working alongside a professional and friendly head chef 

·Developing all dishes from scratch with a focus on fresh and locally sourced ingredients

·Continuously developing the menu to match the needs of the client

·Working closely with the events team in regards to menu specifications and special customer requests

··Monitoring stock and wastage on a regular basis

·Ensuring that the kitchen area is kept to a clean and hygienic standard at all times

·Communicate effectively with all core management staff

OPOORTUNITY TO GET INVOLVED IN THE NEW KITCHEN DESIGN

About you:

·Must have at least two years’ experience as a head chef within a reputable company

·Will have stayed within your current job for at least the last 12 months of your career

·Have a passion for cooking from fresh ingredients Possess a creative mind set in regards to regular menu development

·Maintain a cool head under pressure during busy service periods

Salary & Benefits:
£30 K per annum plus excellent hours and benefits
