Friendly and dynamic expanding operation A Popular sustainable and ethical neighbourhood restaurant, 40 covers serving a high standard of cuisine from produce sourced in a sustainable way , there is an allotment providing vegetables for the operation , fish is all line caught and menus change with the seasons , the menu consist of 10 dishes to include vegetarian , meat and fish and desserts - a great opportunity for a passionate chef who cares about where food comes from and is looking for their next step and wanting to show case their talent
Vacancy Description:

  • Fully responsible for a brigade of 3 chefs
  • Menu creation
  • training and motivation of your team
  • Creative input
  • Stock management
  • Rota management
  • Implementing health and safety , food hygiene practices
  • Maintaining the smooth running of the kitchen at all times
About you:

Ability to commit to a role and demonstrate a steady work background 

  • Will have at least 2 years experience as a sous chef  in a good gastro or fresh food  restaurant environment
  • Demonstrate strong man management
  • Good creative flair
  • Will be able to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Good administration skills
  • Will be from the local area or willing to travel
  • Must demonstrate a passion for good quality, fresh ingredients
  • Excellent organisational skills
Salary & Benefits:
£28 - 33,500 k per annum
