Award winning bar and kitchen currently has a great opportunity for a head chef who enjoys producing great innovative British seasonal food working with quality suppliers and would like to be involved in the development of a fast growing company. The owner is looking for a head chef who can improve on the existing food offering and re establish the site as a leading operator the head chef will have creative menu input and should be a great mentor within the kitchen.

Menu creation Daily Smooth Running of the Kitchen  Menu Planning – costing & recipe specification Stock Control: Supplier Liaison, Ordering, Invoices, Stock Counting, Wastage Control Kitchen Rotas, Recruitment, Team Training & Development, Personnel Files Due Diligence: Food Hygiene, H&S Records & Cleaning Rosters

About you:

Proven Head Chef experience gained within quality Gastro and / or quality restaurant serving Modern British cuisine

Must be have consistent work experience and be looking for a long term role Strong Leadership, Communication, Organisation & Technical Skill Genuine Passion to Cook Ability to Motivate & Train team members effectively Strong on Due Diligence – up to date on current Hygiene Legislation Genuine intention to offer long term commitment to next role

65 covers – up to 200 covers on a busy weekend

Salary & Benefits:
£40 k per annum plus bonus
