The Company:
Established property company currently expanding into hotel premises has an exciting opportunity for a hotel manager to oversee the opening and ongoing management of the hotel property, plans to expand with further openings of a boutique budget hotel.
Vacancy Description:

The successful candidate will be required to deliver ongoing consistency and optimal guest satisfaction preferably with experience in Branded Hotel Groups such as Best Western/ Premier Inn/ Travel lodge /comparable budget hotel environment and also experience of independent hotel operations as the successful candidate will need to be have plenty of initiative , be able to think on their feet , opening and implementing brand standards and involved in the successful marketing and day to day running of the property 


The role will be based between London Bridge head office and the property which is based in West London , there will be 12 rooms , the concept is a low maintenance concept as there will not be a full restaurant facility but a self style service breakfast option for the guests. The property is in the later stages of refurbishment and will open late July /August


Generating revenue through marketing and promotions
Working closely to GP targets
Sourcing and liaising with suppliers, setting up booking systems
Constantly developing the business to profitable ends
Motivating and developing staff members
Responsible for all recruitment and disciplinary procedures and implementing

About you:

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience as a GM in a similar environment , must have independent hotel experience (preferably with opening experience) and ability to set up initial booking systems , admin and marketing experience is also required for the role
Will posses instinctive, strong hands on management skills
Will be fully proficient with P&L systems and managing a business accordingly
Will be sales and target driven and have a history of controlling expenditure and setting and achieving sales and profit targets
Able to promote and market the facilities and services
A natural leader and motivator
Will constantly strive to exceed customer expectations
Will demonstrate good levels administrative skills
A consistent, positive and fun approach to work is an absolute necessity
Will have an excellent, modern business and financial acumen
Will demonstrate the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Salary & Benefits:
£30 - 35 k per annum
