Working closely with the Directors the focus is to develop the food offering, and oversee all aspects of the kitchen set up and operation delivering healthy inspired healthy eating vegan cuisine in an all day dining environment Responsibilities: Training and recruitment of team Daily Menu Planning – seasonal, sourcing, quality, flavours, presentation and interest in healthy eating options and catering for specific dietary requirements 80 - covers all day casual dining /sharing options Eat in and take out concept Stock Control: ordering, supplier liaison (new & existing), stock counting, wastage control Due Diligence: Hygiene, H&S procedures & records, cleaning rosters Implementation of SOP kitchen manuals | |
About you: | |
Proven track record as a head Chef within a comparable vegetarian /vegan commercial restaurant environment ability to create & cook delicious healthy eating vegetarian vegan style food to London standards A genuine love of vegetarian /vegan cuisine and nutritional knowledge essential Positive, flexible work – good time management & organisation – excellent attention to detail Desire to offer a long term commitment Up to date on current Hygiene legislation & verified Employment References essential | |
