The Company:
A unique opportunity for a head chef, within a new restaurant opening, offering an all day dining deluxe brasserie environment. The successful candidate should have experience in new launches, clear ambition and a full understanding of the industry with international goals. This will be the second site opening with the same concept in the group. ( working under the guidance of the exec chef) The site is set in a stunning location near the beach with friendly locals, a big expat community, offering an amazing lifestyle. Also an opportunity for a sous chef within the same concept
Vacancy Description:

  • You will work with the support of the  executive chef with the set up operation and opening and will then be responsible for heading up the kitchen.
  • You will be involved in the recruitment supervision and development of the brigade
  • Integral part of the successful operation of the business as a whole
  • Flexible and adaptable chef 

    About you:

    • Will have experience in a senior capacity in quality led  restaurants
    • A comprehensive knowledge of  French Mediterranean/ International cuisine.
    • Will demonstrate a good level of experience and be a confident face of the business 
    • Ideal for a Chef who has a clearly established professional history within the industry
    • Will be an instinctively strong leader with the ability to motivate, train and develop your staff
    • Will be highly organised
    • Will be technically very capable
    • Will demonstrate a flexible and positive approach to work
    • A  flexible  and open mind
    • You will be able to cost , control, excellent understanding of P&L
    • Menu creation

    Salary & Benefits:
    £45 - 50 K equiv plus accommodation
