|Vacancy Title:||New opening - Manager - West London - for exciting new artisan food retail /cafe/restaurant operation.|
|You will be working with artisan independent food producers/suppliers to include a prominent country estate/ and independent producers showcasing their premium produce for retail. There is small cafe seating area to eat in though the main focus will be on the take out of colorful breakfast bowls/ quality lunches /salads/and a premium hot food offering. The concept will also involve utilizing the space to host cookery demonstrations, chef tables and private tasting and dining events. The operation is due to open before the end of 2020.|
Implementing systems and structures in the initial set up of the operation.

Recruitment, team training & development (HR procedures)
Stock management: purchasing, wastage control, supplier liaison
Staff Rotas and managing labour effectively
Daily cashing up
Due Diligence: Hygiene, Health & Safety, Fire Safety Records & Procedures to be put in place Management meetings
Experience of managing an artisan foodie retail operation and cafe, plus event space
You will need to be a real people person, service driven, attention to detail with passion and ideas
Passion and knowledge for food and its origins, sustainability, excellent with logistics/delivery in the quality food to go market.
Comparable retail recognized premium brand operation/ (opening experience a distinct advantage)
Strong all-round skill set – man management, leadership, organisation, communication, attention to detail
Ability to manage & motivate a team, ensuring high standards of product quality & service
Business acumen – finance control, target driven / sales driven, forecasting
