|This vibrant minimalist Japanese diner with an excellent local reputation currently has an opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced sous chef ( can also suit a junior sous chef looking for next step up) The emphasis is on creating excellent quality contemporary Japanese food for both eat in and delivery. ( 40 covers plus delivery) The Head Chef ( with impressive fine dining background) is looking for a chef that can be trained so doesnt necessarily need to have Japanese cooking experience but must have a solid background in a good quality fresh food environment , ideal opportunity for a chef that is keen to learn new styles and ways of cooking. Most importantly must have a great attitude and enjoy working in a team within a friendly productive environment.|
Able to manage small team in absence of the head chef, and work in a organised manner , you will have a ‘hands on’ style, have excellent organisation and cost control skills, good levels of technical skill
With excellent attention to detail and a committed, motivated, flexible working approach, you will also be up to date with current UK hygiene, health and safety legislation
