The Company:
This busy brasserie in the Stunning island of Jersey represents a great opportunity for a chef looking for a lifestyle change . The brasserie cafe /restaurant is located in the stunning Channel Islands delivering fresh quality homemade food using only the highest quality of local produce
Vacancy Description:

  • Responsible for supporting the head chef and running the kitchen in his absence 
  • Working 5 days only 8- 6.30 pm (weekends required) 
  • Cooking a varied menu -  daily special’s using excellent local produce including plentiful seafood 
  • Creating new dishes
  • Working in a brigade of 8 
About you:

  • At least 12 months experience in a busy  gastro or fast paced  brasserie environment
  • Excellent levels of English required
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Proven experience with cooking for high volume customer levels
  • Very good organisational skills
  • Must have good culinary skills
  • Reliable , good attitude and team worker
Salary & Benefits:
£circa 27 k, per annum studio accommodation available
