This position would suit an experienced and passionate Head chef looking for a big step up and career development with proven excellent London restaurant experience who would like to settle outside of London long term in Stratford upon Avon a stunning City in the West Midlands areas and birthplace of Shakespeare A truly unique opportunity, working for an established Restaurateur with successful renown leading foodie operations who is now seeking a Head Chef This represents a unique opportunity this stand alone restaurant running alongside a boutique hotel, with its own entrances separate to the hotel The style of food is Modern British with wild food and game at the core. An in house butchery and meat hanging room will allow whole carcasses to used as a USP. This will help with menu flexibility and GP’s.
Vacancy Description:

The Head chef will be responsible for Food GP’s and correct staffing percentages

 The Head chef will be responsible for training, equipment and support.

 The Head chef will have responsibility for all health and hygiene in the F and B.

  Essentially a key aspect of this role  is training and quality control and delivering consistency

 You will work in collaboration with the Group Executive Chef  with the menu but the day to day running and entire management of the kitchen  will be your responsibility

About you:

  • You will be a real hands on head chef  having  worked in a renown  foodie led environment and be an all round capable and competent chef with an even and measured temperament.
  • You will  have experience in a senior capacity in extremely high end restaurant /gastro operations with Michelin or 2/3 rosette experience preferred
  • A good experience of cooking with game, butchery, sustainability  and foraging
  • Will be an instinctively strong leader with the ability to motivate, train and develop your staff
  • Will be highly organised
  • New opening experience
  • Will ideally have experience in a similar concept
  • Will be technically very capable
  • Will demonstrate a flexible and positive approach to work
  • Well organized 
  • Up to date on current food and cooking trends , wild food ,butchery
