Our Client is an innovative, growing business revolutionizing workplace catering by providing high-quality, nutritious meals designed to promote employee wellbeing. We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to support in extending our reach.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for supporting with business development and managing client relationships. You will play a key role in developing new business and maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a proven track record in sales, particularly within the catering industry, who is looking for a new challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of strategies to drive revenue and business growth
- Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients
- Leverage your own contacts list and network to expand our client's database
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and promotional efforts
- Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring they are satisfied with the service provided
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management
Requirements:
- Preferably from a catering background with 5+ years of sales/account management experience in the industry
- Strong network of contacts within the corporate sector
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experienced in ideally in catering, hospitality, or health and wellness. We are open to candidates from other industries if they have demonstrated experience in sustainability or mission-led businesses.
- A positive attitude with a passion for healthy eating and wellbeing
- Proven track record of managing sales pipelines, converting leads, and growing accounts.
- Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related commercial field preferred.
- Approachable and confident speaker – able to hold tastings and present to clients with warmth and clarity
- Passionate about health, nutrition, and sustainability – aligning with company values
- Naturally client-focused – understands how to centre the experience around the customer, especially in workplace environments.
- Open-minded and flexible – someone who can evolve with us as we grow and shape this new role.
- Organised, self-driven, and proactive in finding new opportunities.
