The centre is set in stunning landscaped gardens and is an idyllic and tranquil setting in which to work. The Centre caters for multis faith communities, actively participating in local charity work in the community and as such the food offering varies, from traditional English/Irish to Afro/Caribbean/Asian with a focus also on vegetarian cuisine. The food is served within a buffet style set up and can vary from cooking for 8 persons to the largest gathering at 80 pax.

About you
This role would suit a competent and well organized chef who enjoys to cook everything from scratch, and wants to step out of restaurants or contract catering. The work is at a slower pace and set within a tranquil setting, you will be managing your time effectively, and able to work on your own initiative within a supportive and peaceful environment.
Good role consistency is key as is a reliable and personable character who is looking to settle long term into a role.
You will also have the opportunity to introduce new suppliers.
The working schedule will be 5 days per week at 37.5 hours ( Saturdays required) daytimes only - shift straight patterns will be 7-3.30pm or 11 am - 7pm ( dependent on the calendar of events) - one evening per month until 9p.m
