We are looking for a chef who can develop an exciting brunch offering and Sundays will be for roasting This is a great opportunity to have lots of creative input within the brief, for this upmarket high end all day dining cafe /restaurant operation and to create a strong identity for the kitchen. Nov 25

Role Details:


Role Requirements:

Personable presentable and customer facing with a good mixture of senior sous head chef / chef experience quality restaurant, contract catering or event catering.

Excellent leadership and mentoring skills,  in managing a team of 6 chefs- 

A chef who can lead from the front, and is excellent with training, logistics, and improving operational processes but isn't necessarily wanting creative menu control. 

 Being able to cook fresh from scratch to a high restaurant standard 

Able to lead and direct a team and support with implementation of new systems and processes, also be diplomatic and a people person working directly with senior management team. 

• Genuine interest in healthy food and sustainability. •

 Professional chef training with excellent references.

 Training experience with health and safety and food safety.

Ordering experience

• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.

 

Salary & Benefits:

45- 50 k per annum 

Work hours:  7 shifts per week
