Our Client an Independent and well respected small and growing pub company with 5 sites has a new opening within the Hampstead area. The brief is for the Head chef to create the menu (the sites menus all vary to enable the chef to have creative input and also tailor the menu to the local clientele /area. We are looking for a chef who can develop an exciting brunch offering and Sundays will be for roasting- rare breed meat, crispy roast potatoes, with an exciting vegan option, and carefully executed trimmings. This is a great opportunity to have lots of creative input within the brief, for this upmarket high end gastro pub site and to create a strong identity for the kitchen.
About you.
Our client is looking for a Head chef who can create a winning menu, have a personable and friendly demeanor and mentor and motivate their staff within this well respected growing pub company
You have experience of Menu creation - Modern European - Sunday Roast - Great brunches within a comparable fresh food gastro operation
Responsibility for the recruitment, training with support.
Menu Planning – costing & recipe specification
Stock Control: Supplier Liaison, Ordering, Invoices, Stock Counting, Wastage Control Kitchen Rotas, Maintaining GP
Due Diligence: Food Hygiene, H&S Records & Cleaning Rosters

Salary based on 40 hours per week / 5 days per week.
