Expanding Company currently seeking sous chef /Kitchen manager who can support in managing the team of 14 with experience in a quality independently owned production kitchen
Working closely with the Head Production chef , responsibilities include: Overseeing daily preparation of quality deliveries for both corporates and retail.
Daily organisation of kitchen operation ensuring all standards are adhered to.
Supporting the head of production and have accountability and responsibility for all aspects of food production operation including supporting with purchasing, storage, food preparation, cooking, packaging and distribution. Stock control: placing daily food orders, , authorising deliveries, maintaining food cost budget / min. food wastage levels Due Diligence: Hygiene, H&S Records, Cleaning Rosters & Maintenance of Kitchen & Equipment, Strong kitchen management skills required and a desire to progress
A strong work history and experience gained in a production kitchen with a real can do attitude.
Monday - Friday - daytimes - CAN BE EARLY STARTS OR 9 AM STARTS
